(LYNNWOOD, WA), The Lynnwood Convention Center would like to welcome Greg Lowry as General Manager. Greg has over 20 years experience working in the events industry. Before moving to the northwest, he was employed by SMG in Denver, Colorado at the Colorado Convention Center where he participated in the grand opening of the $340 million dollar expansion. Working in conjunction with Visit Denver, he oversaw sales and booking of all events at the Colorado Convention Center. Greg and the Colorado Convention Center SMG Sales Team successfully wrote, negotiated and executed nearly 400 event agreements every year. Prior to the Colorado Convention Center, he was employed by SMG in Memphis, Tennessee at the Pyramid Arena where he was responsible for all areas of marketing, advertising and public relations for the 20,000 seat arena. While at The Pyramid, Lowry worked with the NBA Memphis Grizzlies Basketball program national touring concerts and family spectaculars.
Greg is a recipient of the Advertising Awards (Addys) VOX award. Memphis Mayor's "Outstanding Community Service Award," and the Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau "Mile High Energy Award." He participates nationally in the Event and Arena Marketing Conference, Meeting Professionals International, Professional Convention Management Association, and International Association of Exhibitions and Events.

About Lynnwood Public Facilities District
Formed in 1999, the Lynnwood Public Facilities District is governed by a Board of five members appointed by the Lynnwood City Council. The District owns the Lynnwood Convention Center and the surrounding twelve acre parcel. The District retains to SMG to manage the facility.
